President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has met with global investors in Paris, where he highlighted his administration’s economic reforms and commitment to fiscal discipline.

At the meeting, Tinubu emphasized transparency, policy stability, and the need for continued reforms to stabilise Nigeria’s economy and drive inclusive growth.

The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Taiwo Oyedele, told investors that Nigeria recorded about 11.2% GDP growth in dollar terms in 2025, reinforcing the country’s ambition to become a $1 trillion economy by 2030.

Also speaking, the Director-General of the Debt Management Office, Patience Oniha, assured investors of responsible debt management and sustainable financing strategies.

Tinubu further outlined plans to deepen reforms, improve transparency in the oil sector, and strengthen security through measures such as decentralised policing and disruption of terrorist financing.
