Young lady murdered by her husband after 2 months of marriage to takeover her wealth in Kano
A Magistrate Court in Kano State has ordered the remand of a man, Ali Suleiman, over the alleged murder of his wife, Maryam Nababa Badamasi, just two months after their wedding.
According to reports, the defendant was arraigned before the court on charges bordering on alleged culpable homicide.
The prosecution told the court that Suleiman allegedly killed his wife in a bid to gain access to her wealth, noting that the deceased came from a wealthy family.
Prosecuting counsel, Aisha Habibu Hassan, said the offence is a capital one and appealed to the court for more time to obtain legal advice on the matter.
Presiding magistrate, Sadiya Zakirai, granted the request and ordered that the defendant be remanded pending further legal advice and investigation into the case.

During the confrontation, the boss repeatedly asked the labourer whether he was truly willing to kill someone for insulting the Prophet.
Responding angrily, the labourer said, “That Anabi that you are calling, I will kill you now now (That prophet you are calling, I will kill you immediately).”
