The All Progressives Congress (APC) has resumed its electronic membership registration exercise in all wards and designated centres across the country.
In a statement issued in Abuja on Wednesday, the party urged existing members to validate their records while calling on eligible Nigerians to register and join the progressive family.
NaijaChoice News reports that the exercise, which kicked off earlier in January before a pause, requires every registrant to be 18 years and above and to present a valid National Identification Number (NIN).
The e-registration is meant to digitise the party’s membership register, protect the integrity of its records, and give leadership easy access to accurate data for planning and decision-making.
Party leaders say the move will deepen internal democracy and position the APC as a forward-looking organisation embracing technology in Nigeria’s political space.
The development comes weeks after the initial phase of the exercise recorded massive turnout, with over seven million members digitally verified and enrolled nationwide.
Analysts note that the resumption will help the ruling party clean up its database and prepare stronger structures as the country looks toward the 2027 general elections.
The statement was signed by APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, CON.
Prospective members can access the registration portal via the official APC website.
