You Better Refund my Money – King Mitchy, Calls Out Blessing CEO Over Disputed Cancer Claims

Social media is on fire after content creator King Mitchy publicly dragged relationship influencer Blessing CEO, demanding the immediate return of money she donated towards the self-proclaimed relationship expert’s cancer treatment.

In a no-holds-barred video now making rounds, King Mitchy accused Blessing of using someone else’s medical records and faking a stage 4 breast cancer diagnosis to solicit funds from Nigerians. “You better refund my money to my account,” she declared, adding that Blessing was “making a mockery of real people with cancer.” The clip has racked up thousands of views within hours, with many netizens echoing the call for refunds.

NaijaChoice News gathered that Blessing CEO, whose real name is Blessing Okoro, went viral weeks ago after posting emotional videos about her supposed stage 4 breast cancer battle. She appealed for public support, claiming she had exhausted her resources and even put her properties and wigs up for sale to fund treatment. Supporters quickly rallied, sending donations into accounts she provided.

But cracks soon appeared. Several influencers, including VeryDarkMan and businessman Oilmoney, also began questioning the claim. Oilmoney reportedly demanded the return of N20 million he contributed, threatening legal action if not refunded. Critics pointed to inconsistencies in the medical report Blessing shared online, with some alleging it was doctored from another person’s records.

King Mitchy was not alone in her outrage. In a recent Instagram Live session with Daddy Freeze, Blessing faced tough questions about her diagnosis, treatment costs, and proof. Many viewers described her responses as evasive, further fuelling calls for transparency.

The drama has split Nigerians online. While some insist Blessing must provide verifiable hospital documents or return every kobo collected, others have urged caution, warning against trial by social media. Supporters argue her privacy should be respected and that the attacks are too harsh on someone battling a serious illness—if true.

This latest episode has once again thrown the spotlight on the dark side of online fundraising in Nigeria. With emotional health appeals becoming common on Instagram and TikTok, concerns are growing over how easily public sympathy can be exploited. Trust, many now say, is fast becoming the most expensive currency in the digital space.

As at press time, Blessing CEO is yet to issue a direct response to King Mitchy’s demand. Nigerians are watching closely to see if she will release fresh medical evidence or begin processing the refunds now being demanded by several donors.

The court of public opinion, it appears, has already delivered its verdict—and the pressure is only mounting.
