“We’ve Been Here Since 6am” — Funke Akindele Laments Airport Delay

Popular Nollywood actress Funke Akindele has raised concerns over the treatment of passengers following an alleged flight cancellation by Air Peace.

In a video shared online, the actress said she and other passengers had been stranded at the airport since early morning after their flight was reportedly cancelled without prior notice.

“We have been at the airport since 6am, and Air Peace cancelled our flight without informing us. We asked for our luggage, but they refused to release it. Our bags are not coming out, and we have elderly people here, our mothers are here. No one is speaking to us,” she said.

Akindele also alleged that passengers were being treated poorly by airline staff, expressing frustration over the lack of communication and assistance.

“I don’t want to do this, but I have no choice. Give us our bags and lodge us in a hotel,” she added.
