Senator Anyanwu Receive High Profile Decampees Into Imo PDP

OWERRI, NIGERIA — The political landscape of Imo State witnessed a significant shift on Saturday as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) officially received a wave of high-profile defectors from various rival political parties.

The National Secretary of the PDP, Senator Samuel Anyanwu, led the reception of the new members, further solidifying the party’s presence in the South East. Speaking on the development, Senator Anyanwu noted that the move signals a “political realignment of massive proportions.” He emphasized that the defectors are transitioning alongside their existing political structures and thousands of loyal supporters across the state.
