The OK Movement has congratulated the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, on his 65th birthday anniversary.
In a message shared on its verified X handle on Sunday, the movement described the former Anambra State governor as a symbol of courage, integrity and principled leadership.
According to the group, Obi’s significance goes beyond his age, portraying him as a leader who has remained steadfast despite political challenges.
“At 65, the Rock stands taller. Not merely by age, but by courage. Not by power, but by principle,” the group wrote.
Describing Obi as “Okwute,” a title often associated with him, the movement said he represents strength and resilience in the face of corruption and hopelessness.
“Okwute is not just a name, it is a symbol. A rock that refuses to bow, a rock strong enough to pull down the structures of criminality, corruption, and hopelessness,” the statement added.
The group wished Obi a happy birthday and expressed hope that he would continue to inspire Nigerians.
The OK Movement is made up of supporters of Obi and his running mate for the 2027 general election, Rabiu Kwankwaso.
