Lamine Yamal Requests Victor Osimhen at Barcelona

Barcelona sensation Lamine Yamal has urged his club to sign Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen this summer.

The teenage winger believes the Nigerian forward is the perfect partner to unlock his own game and strengthen Barcelona’s attack ahead of next season.

Spanish outlet Fichajes first broke the story, claiming Yamal personally identified Osimhen as his top choice striker.

The 18-year-old is convinced the Galatasaray star possesses the pace, power and clinical finishing needed to create havoc alongside him on the wing.

Osimhen, currently tearing it up in Turkey, has scored prolifically for Galatasaray since making the move permanent last year.

His ability to stretch defences and finish inside the box is exactly what Yamal feels Barcelona lacks as they chase the LaLiga title.

For Nigerian football, a move to Camp Nou would mark another major milestone for the Super Eagles talisman and boost national pride on the global stage.
