JERUSALEM, ISRAEL – Israel will host the Middle East’s largest-ever LGBT festival at the Dead Sea in June 2026.
The four-day event, named Pride Land, is scheduled to run from June 1 to June 4 and will transform part of the Judean Desert into a full-scale pride city.
NaijaChoice News reports that organisers plan to operate the venue 24 hours a day with 15 hotels, beach complexes, parties and a central performance arena all running non-stop.
Main producer and initiator Aaron Cohen described the festival as far bigger than anything the community has done before. “Pride Land is not just another festival, it’s the biggest thing we’ve done here,” he said.
Cohen added that the project involves millions in investment to buy entire hotels for four days and build a city from scratch in the desert.
Beyond nightlife, Pride Land will feature cultural and art complexes, relaxation zones, scenic areas and family-friendly sections with children’s activities, workshops and special events.
The festival aims to offer a complete experience rather than just parties or performances, according to details shared with local media.
This marks a major step for Israel’s LGBT scene, which already draws global attention through events like Tel Aviv Pride. Pride Land is expected to set a new record for the region.
Tickets and full programme details are yet to be released, but organisers say preparations are advancing steadily.
