“I Learned The Hard Way” — Lady Regrets Breaking Up With Calm Boyfriend

A lady has shared a personal experience about her past relationship, using it as a lesson on why people should not take a partner’s kindness for granted.

She began by saying, “Community members, let me tell you how I learned the hard way never to take a man’s niceness, gentleness, and kindness for stupidity.”

According to her, the relationship ended after she suggested a breakup during an argument, believing her partner would try to stop her and make things work. However, to her surprise, he agreed immediately without trying to persuade her otherwise.

She explained that she was confident he would come back after some time to beg and reconcile, but weeks went by and he never returned.

Looking back, she admitted that her former partner had always been calm and understanding, often apologising even when she was the one at fault. She said this made her become too comfortable and take his attitude for granted.

She added that after the breakup, she started meeting other men but soon realised they did not treat her the same way her ex did.
