OTA, Ogun State, Nigeria – Bishop David Oyedepo, founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, has declared divine judgment on bandits and their sponsors operating across Nigeria.

The cleric made the pronouncement on Sunday during the church’s Covenant Day of Vengeance service at Faith Tabernacle headquarters in Ota.

“Except I am not sent, in the next seven days, I declare judgment upon those responsible for these disasters and their sponsors in Jesus’ name,” Oyedepo told the congregation, NaijaChoice News reports.

He added that the coming week would bring “testimonies of vengeance” for the nation as God steps in against those behind killings and kidnappings.

Oyedepo insisted that divine intervention remains imminent and that the wicked would not relent until the God of vengeance appears.

While preaching on pathways to sanctification, the bishop urged believers to shun spiritual laxity and ungodliness, which he said block breakthroughs and stain destiny.

He warned that without holiness, Christians risk losing access to eternity, the ultimate goal of the faith.

The declaration comes amid persistent banditry and kidnapping that have disrupted lives in many parts of the country, with communities in the North-West and North-Central regions bearing the brunt.

Oyedepo’s words have stirred fresh conversations on faith and national security as Nigerians await developments in the coming days.
