The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arraigned social media influencer and self-acclaimed relationship therapist, Blessing CEO, before the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos, over an alleged N36 million fraud.

According to the EFCC, Blessing CEO, whose real name is Okoro Blessing Nkiruka, was charged with obtaining money by false pretence and alleged fraudulent conversion of funds linked to a property transaction in Lekki, Lagos.

During proceedings, her lawyer told the court that she had refunded N24 million to the petitioner and requested time to settle the remaining balance. However, the prosecution insisted the case was between the defendant and the Federal Government.

Blessing CEO pleaded not guilty to the charges.
