3. President Tinubu Inaugurates The 60MW Gas Turbine Power Plant In Bayelsa

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Friday inaugurated the 60-megawatt gas turbine independent power plant in Bayelsa State.

The facility, sited at Elebele in Ogbia Local Government Area, forms part of the Bayelsa Independent Power Plant project executed by the state government under Governor Senator Douye Diri. It is designed to strengthen electricity supply across Yenagoa and surrounding communities while cutting reliance on diesel generators.

4. ExxonMobil Briefs NUPRC On $8 Billion Owowo, $16 Billion Bosi Projects

ExxonMobil has briefed the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) on ambitious multi-billion dollar deepwater projects, spotlighting the $7-8 billion Owowo development and a potential $15-16 billion investment in the adjacent Bosi oil and gas field.

5. 2027: Don’t Be Deceived, Free Nnamdi Kanu – Ohanaeze Tells Tinubu

Apex Igbo socio-cultural organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo demanded the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB. Ohanaeze made the demand in Enugu on Thursday, declaring that the entire Igbos were in jail not just the IPOB leader.

7. Tinubu Mourns Soldiers Killed In Battle With Boko Haram

President Bola Tinubu has expressed deep sadness over the loss of the brave soldiers of the 29 Task Force Brigade, Operation Hadin Kai, who died in a coordinated terrorist attack on their camp in Benisheikh, Borno State.

The President also expressed heartfelt condolences to the military and the families of the soldiers, urging them to take heart in the face of the unfortunate loss.
