The United States government has slapped a $10 million bounty on Iran’s new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, along with nine other top Iranian officials, under its Rewards for Justice programme.
Officials say the cash reward, which also includes possible relocation to America for tipsters, targets key figures accused of commanding Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), described by Washington as a global terrorism machine.
The announcement, dropped on Friday via an official poster on the US State Department’s Diplomatic Security Service Rewards for Justice platform, lists Mojtaba Khamenei at the top as Supreme Leader.

Other names on the wanted list include Ali Asghar Hejazi (Deputy Chief of Staff, Supreme Leader’s Office), Maj. Gen. Yahya Rahim Safavi (SLO Military Adviser), Ali Larijani (Adviser/Secretary of Supreme National Security Council), Brig. Gen. Eskandar Momeni (Minister of the Interior), Esmail Khatib (Minister of Intelligence and Security), and the IRGC Commander, among others.
The bold poster carries a clear message: “These individuals command and direct various elements of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), which plans, organises, and executes terrorism around the world.”
It adds: “If you have information on these or other key IRGC leaders or its component branches, send it to us via our Tor-based tipline or Signal. Your information could make you eligible for relocation and a reward.”
A direct quote from the US statement reads: “Got information on these Iranian terrorist leaders? Send us a tip. It could make you eligible for a reward and relocation.”
As previously reported by NaijaChoice News, Mojtaba Khamenei stepped into the role of Supreme Leader shortly after the assassination of his father, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, during a major US-Israel military operation.
The development comes amid heightened tensions in the Middle East, with the IRGC already designated by the US as a Foreign Terrorist Organisation since 2019.
Tipsters are urged to use encrypted channels, including the Tor link provided on the official poster or the US hotline +1-202-702-7843, to submit information anonymously.
This latest move by the Trump administration signals a no-holds-barred approach to dismantling what Washington calls Iran’s terror network at the highest levels.
