Iran has fired a direct warning to major American technology companies, stating that their offices and critical infrastructure in Israel and several Gulf nations could now face attacks as the conflict broadens into what it calls an “infrastructure war.“

The IRGC-affiliated Tasnim News Agency published a detailed list of facilities belonging to firms including Google, Microsoft, Palantir Technologies, IBM, Nvidia and Oracle Corporation. These sites, described as “Iran’s new targets,” are accused of supporting Israeli military operations through cloud-based services and other technologies. The facilities are located across multiple Israeli cities as well as in Gulf countries such as the UAE, Bahrain and Qatar.

“As the scope of the regional war expands to infrastructure war, the scope of Iran’s legitimate targets expands,” Tasnim stated in its report, which was widely cited by international media including Al Jazeera.

Reports indicate the list covers dozens of specific sites, including data centres and development hubs, with some outlets counting up to 29 locations tied to the named companies.

Separately, Iran has expanded its threats to economic targets. A spokesperson for the Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters — an IRGC-linked entity — declared that the country now reserves the right to strike US and Israeli-linked banks and financial centres across the region.

The warning followed an Israeli strike on a branch of Bank Sepah in Tehran, which Iran described as an “illegitimate and unusual act.” The spokesperson said: “The enemy left our hands open to targeting economic centres and banks belonging to the United States and the Zionist regime in the region.” He further urged civilians to stay clear, adding: “People of the region should not be within a one-kilometre radius of banks.”

As previously reported by NaijaChoice News, the war between the United States, Israel and Iran entered its 12th day on Wednesday, with intense exchanges continuing on multiple fronts.

Lebanon’s health ministry said Israeli strikes killed at least seven people across southern Lebanon early Wednesday, including five in the town of Qana. Meanwhile, residents of Tehran reported some of the war’s heaviest bombardment overnight, with powerful explosions shaking neighbourhoods and causing electricity outages across parts of the capital.

The developments come as the conflict, which began on February 28, has already claimed hundreds of lives and displaced thousands, with both sides trading accusations over civilian targeting.

Analysts warn that dragging commercial infrastructure and financial institutions into the fray could disrupt global tech supply chains and cloud services relied upon worldwide — a development that may have ripple effects even on emerging markets like Nigeria’s booming digital economy.
