2027: You Can’t Beat The Master At His own Game – Keyamo Tells ADC, others

Festus Keyamo, Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, has described President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a political master who remains unmatched in Nigeria’s opposition game.

Keyamo said the President’s rise stands out because he battled from the deepest trenches of opposition to claim the highest office in the land. He recalled how Tinubu survived intense pressure as the only opposition governor left standing in the South-West in 2007, when the PDP swept the region but could not dislodge him from Lagos.

NaijaChoice News reports that the minister believes every move the opposition makes today comes straight from the playbook Tinubu perfected over decades. According to Keyamo, the President already understands their plans before they even think them up.

“You cannot beat the master at his own game. You cannot outfox the man who taught almost all of us how to play opposition politics. He is 100 steps ahead of all of them,” Keyamo stated.

The minister’s remarks highlight Tinubu’s long years as a pro-democracy fighter and strategist. Many political observers say this deep experience continues to give the President an edge as rivals regroup ahead of future contests.
