ABUJA – The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has commenced reprinting of examination slips for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
NaijaChoice News reports that the board issued the directive on Thursday, April 9, 2026. Officials described the slip as a mandatory requirement for all registered candidates.
The reprinted document carries essential details, including the candidate’s assigned examination centre, date and specific time slot.
JAMB warned that the slip remains the only official entry pass into the Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres. Any candidate who fails to produce a physical copy will be turned away from the examination hall without exception.
To prevent unnecessary delays, the board urged candidates unable to print from home to patronise accredited cyber cafés or reliable business centres.
The announcement follows the recent 2026 UTME mock examination conducted by the board. With the main exams set to begin on April 16, candidates have been advised to reprint their slips immediately to avoid last-minute technical hitches or portal congestion.
JAMB further encouraged aspirants to locate their centres ahead of time and plan for punctuality on examination day. Strict adherence to all guidelines, the board said, will help deliver a seamless and credible process across the country.
