Celebrity Nigerian cryptocurrency entrepreneur Linus Williams Ifejirika, popularly known as Blord, has been remanded at the Kuje Correctional Centre in Abuja.
The Federal High Court in Abuja ordered the remand on Thursday, April 1, 2026, after arraigning him on multiple charges of impersonation and forgery.
NaijaChoice News reports that Blord will spend the next 26 days in custody, meaning he will be behind bars throughout the Easter period.
Social media personality Martins Vincent Otse, better known as VeryDarkMan, broke the news in a video posted across his platforms.
In the clip, VeryDarkMan said Blord forged flight tickets in his name and falsely claimed he was heading to Onitsha to co-launch the Blunt Gadget app.
He also alleged that Blord claimed to have paid him N500 million as brand ambassador and that he had approved the Billpoint app.
VeryDarkMan added that Blord printed billboards and flyers with his face, circulating them without permission to promote the projects.
“All of these claims are false,” VeryDarkMan stated, pointing out that his social media bios clearly declare he does not take adverts or promotions.
He revealed he has turned down ambassadorship deals worth over N700 million to keep his brand focused on meaningful causes.
The case has sparked widespread reactions on social media, with many Nigerians following developments closely.
Blord, founder of the Blord Group, is a familiar face in the country’s crypto and fintech space, where digital endorsements often drive business.
VeryDarkMan, on his part, has built a large following through his no-nonsense approach to social issues and public accountability.
Court proceedings are expected to continue after the remand period.
