Nigeria Will Become A Developed Country By 2045 – APC Chairman

The National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, has expressed confidence that Nigeria will become one of the developed countries of the world, citing the economic and political achievements it has recorded.

Yilwatda made the statement when he hosted the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bui Quoc Hung, at the ruling party’s national headquarters in Abuja.

According to him: “The biggest takeaway of their visit is the lessons we are learning from them in migrating from third world country to developed country. The roadmap is to ensure that by 2030 and middle income countries are stable.

“By 2045 it will be a developed country. Most of the strategic plans are that we are providing manpower development as a country. The government is providing the best infrastructure.

“By the history of Nigeria, we have the longest road Sokoto to Badagry and from Lagos to Calabar. The most expensive project is running gas pipeline from Warri to Kano and from Lagos to Maradi in Niger.

“This is the biggest for Nigeria for having that Maradi port and ensuring that Nigerians can export and have Nigeria in Niger especially countries that are landlocked, like Niger, Chad, Sudan, Burkina Faso, who will depend heavily on that route for their exports.

On his reaction, the ambassador, Bui Quoc Hung, on behalf of the Vietnamese government, threw their weight behind President Bola Tinubu and the APC to successfully win next year’s forthcoming presidential election.

Bui Quoc Hung hinged his confidence on what he described as very good achievements the president recorded in the areas of macroeconomic stability, particularly in terms of stabilising the local currency, the naira.

He said: “Our strategic positions in our regions in Southeast Asia and West Africa. The President is taking lead in terms of West Africa and I also want to congratulate the national chairman of the party on the achievements by the Nigerian government led by President Tinubu under the leadership of APC.

“Nigeria is recording very good achievements in terms of macroeconomic stability in terms of stabilising local currency Naira and in terms of upgrading investment. Nigeria has been gaining a lot in the last few years.

“We are happy about the future of APC in the coming election because next January 2027, there will be an election of the presidential and National Assembly members. We hope that APC successfully wins the election,” he said.
