Delta State APC Chieftain, member of the 2023 Presidential Campaign Council and Vice President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Dr. Ngozi Olejeme, has reaffirmed her strong support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, calling on all Delta women to throw their massive weight behind the Renewed Hope Agenda.

As previously reported by NaijaChoice News, Dr Olejeme has consistently championed progressive alliances across party lines in Delta State, positioning the Renewed Hope vision as the surest path to sustainable development in the South-South.

The outspoken women leader and former governorship aspirant made the declaration after receiving a prestigious award of recognition from the Asaba Development Union (ADU) Women Wing at the Maryam Babangida International Centre (Women Development Centre), Abuja, over the weekend. The honour was conferred alongside posthumous awards to Her Excellency, late Maryam Babangida, and Prof. Joy Ogwu for their immense contributions to women development and nation-building.

She showered praises on Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for aligning Delta State with the progressive family and providing focused, people-oriented leadership that has restored political stability and unity within the ruling structure in the state.

“Governor Oborevwori’s administration has brought renewed political stability and unity within the party. I urge all party members to give the Governor maximum cooperation so that we can consolidate on the gains already achieved,” she stated.

The respected Ohanaeze Ndigbo leader assured Nigerians and Deltans that the synergy between President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and Governor Oborevwori’s development-driven leadership will usher in a new era of progress and political consolidation in Delta State and the country at large.

Dr Olejeme offered glowing tributes to her traditional ruler, the Asagba of Asaba, HRM (Prof.) Epiphany Chigbogu Azinge SAN, who attended the event with his wife. She equally extolled the quality leadership of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide executive led by President General Senator John Azuta Mbata, Deputy President General Prince Okey Nwadinobi, Secretary General H.E. Emeka Sibeudu and National Publicity Secretary Dr. Ezechi Chukwu, among others.

“Asaba women have made their mark and they will continue to make more positive impact in the development of the nation, Delta State and Asaba in particular. Nation building must start from how we build our immediate community and we will continue to support and develop our people,” she declared.

She specially thanked the leadership of the Asaba Development Union (ADU) Women Wing, ably led by its charismatic President Dr. Janerose Buzugbe, for recognising her contributions to community and human capital development, assuring them of her unwavering commitment to the path of progress, peace and stability.

Political observers believe Dr Olejeme’s latest endorsement will further strengthen the growing momentum for the Tinubu-Oborevwori partnership in Delta State ahead of future electoral cycles.
