“His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri, remains committed to empowering the people of Bayelsa State by teaching them how to fish, ensuring self-reliance and sustainable development,” the statement declared.

This Phase 4 builds on the success of earlier editions under the Governor’s “Assured Prosperity” agenda, where thousands of youths have already been trained and equipped. In one recent exercise alone, 2,850 successful trainees received starter packs, while hundreds more benefited from grants and tools in various batches, significantly reducing youth unemployment and promoting entrepreneurship across the eight LGAs.

NaijaChoice News urges all qualified Bayelsa youths, especially those yet to benefit from the scheme, to take full advantage of this life-changing initiative. With skills ranging from Artificial Intelligence to solar technology and agribusiness, the programme is set to produce a new generation of self-reliant entrepreneurs who will drive the state’s economic growth.
