The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced the release of the 2025 Second Series Computer-Based West African Senior School Certificate Examination (CB-WASSCE) results for private candidates, revealing that 42.17 per cent obtained five credits, including English Language and Mathematics.

In a statement issued by the council’s National Office in Lagos, the Acting Head of Public Affairs, Moyosola Adesina, said candidates can check their results through the WAEC result portal before proceeding to the digital certificate platform to access their certificates.

Candidates requiring physical certificates were advised to apply via the WAEC Certificate Request Portal, also known as e-Certman.

According to the examination body, a total of 69,604 candidates registered for the examination, representing a 1.8 per cent increase compared with the 68,342 candidates recorded in 2024.
